Livestream: From “Si Se Puede” to “Build the Wall”

A Community Forum on the Day of the First Presidential Debate
Livestreaming Monday September 26th at 6:00 – 7:30pm eastern.

Republican nominee Donald Trump’s opening salvo of his Presidential campaign put the spotlight on the country’s Latino population like never before, as he pledged to build a wall along the southern border to keep Mexico from sending “criminals” and “rapists” to the U.S. Nevertheless, the issues impacting the increasingly influential Latino electorate go far beyond the complexities of the debate over immigration reform, and include everything from health care to housing, education to policing and the criminal justice system. In this Debate 2016 panel, journalists, academics and community activists will explore the range of issues affecting the diverse Latino community, and how the two major parties are addressing (or not) their many concerns.
